Now, this is a new one. This took me a bit longer, lotīs of sweat and a big portion of patience ... but the result is very satisfying. The portrait of Adriana Lima (I think a famous brasilian model with astonishing eyes) is my best one so far (to my opinion). I hope you like it, too.
I used all kinds of pencils, mechanical and normal, from HB to 7 B.
Note: when I joined deviant art about two weeks ago, I thought I could draw well, ... but then I saw the work of some folks here ... and was simply amased and kind of speechless. This opened my eyes a bit and I said to myself ... thomas you have got to make much more effort to achieve some really good work ... I think that my work moved a bit closer to that direction ... the target is set, the wayīs still long - letīs go to work again.
can you please teach me how to draw real people, i know you are probably very busy, and i know it takes practice, but i am a really good drawer, just not as good at realism, if you could just take a few minutes of your time to tell me how (in traditional drawing) how you shade and make the face proportional, i would appreciate it more than you could ever know! just any tips you can provide

Some people don't understand artists. We have our pride, just like anyone else, and nothing breaks our pride more then seeing something we wish we could draw.
